M2 is a molybdenum type high speed steel, which has the advantages of low carbide inhomogeneity and high toughness.It is easy to overheat, so the quenching temperature should be strictly controlled.Due to its good hardness and wear resistance, it is mainly used to make cutting tools of difficult cutting materials.M2 high speed steel has a great tendency of carbide, so it has a strict requirement for heat treatment protection, and is suitable for dies bearing vibration and impact load.

 

Application:

Cold forging die, precision punching die, powder pressing die, shearing machine die, plastic die with glass fiber added, etc.Suitable for bearing shock and impact load: deep drawing die, punching die.Metal cutting blades, cold heading and extrusion tools, etc.
