Hot Forged Steel Block DIN1.2738/ASSAB 718H/AISI P20+NI For Large Injection Molds
1.2738 steel is a vacuum-melting chromium-nickel-molybdenum alloy steel that has been hardened and tempered before it leaves the factory. It offers the following advantages: No risk of quench cracking and heat treatment; no need for heat treatment; shorten the cycle time; Cost (for example, without overseas Chinese is deformation); easy to amend the mold; nitriding and surface hardening can be applied to improve the mold surface hardness and wear resistance.
P20+NI steel is pre-hard mirror anti-acid plastic mould steel. The steel pre-hardened, uniform material, high cleanliness, excellent polishing performance and lithography. Also has high hardenability, good electrical processing performance and striae processing performance. Pre-hardened steel without quenching can also be used for the mold bore, flange flame hardening can be implemented, the hardness can be increased to 52HRC.
