Description
SKD11 die steel is a kind of high carbon and high chromium cold working die steel widely used in the world. It belongs to ledeburite steel with high hardenability, hardenability and high wear resistance. It has good high temperature oxidation resistance, good corrosion resistance after quenching and polishing, and small deformation after heat treatment
Application:
It is suitable for tool steel with complex deformation, various cold stamping dies with high wear resistance and long life, cold cutting edge, thread rolling plate, cold extrusion forming, drawing die, stainless steel sheet and blanking die for high hardness materials.

Detail information:
1) Used for drawing die of refrigerator compressor back cover, quenching hardness 56 ~ 58 HRC.
2) In order to improve the service life of D2 cold work die flat steel, the wear resistance and impact toughness of the steel are greatly improved by adding rare earth, so as to improve the service life of flat steel for round die.
3) Because the content of V and Mo in D2 steel is higher than that of Cr12MoV steel, D2 steel has better comprehensive properties, and the traditional Cr12MoV steel will be gradually replaced.
4) Compared with Cr12MoV steel, the service life of cold stamping die made of D2 steel for thread rolling wheel and off stage adjusting plate can be increased by 5 ~ 6 times.
